Well I suppose an explanation is in order…
There once was a website called Susceptible to Images (don’t bother looking – it’s gone to the black hole of defunct websites). It ran for about two years, give or take, and featured many fabulous writers from the Milwaukee area, writing about galleries, art, exhibitions, and all sorts of other visual things, plus photographers generously submitting their work for photo essays. It was lovely and a lot of fun, but pretty high maintenance. So we stopped.
But we missed it. And with the magic of blogosphere, realized that we could keep writing and posting and commenting without the maintenance issues of html, etc. So here it is, once again. But this time, we’re not organizing publishing schedules, there are no deadlines, no planning, no advertising, it’s all deliciously organic, meandering, and hopefully spirited. But we’ll be here, occasionally or frequently, and delighted all the same.
